Specific Environments Branches Out

SPECIFIC Environments, part of the UK’s fastest growing engineering group, has just appointed a new Northern Sales Manager.  Chris Dooley hails from a technical manufacturing background and has been charged with bringing Specific Environments’ expertise to new market sectors.

Headquartered in Buckinghamshire, Specific Environments is a leading provider of specialist HVAC products and solutions.  The company was bought by the Entologi Group at its inception last year.  Entologi was created to capitalise on the opportunities for growth in the UK engineering market.

“Currently, some 80% of the Specific Environments business comes from the pharma and life science sectors”, says Dooley.  “However, we’ve identified new sectors in aerospace, satellites and food manufacturing that should provide us with a massive potential for growth.  These sectors will yield a mix of new build and refurb business.  Cost cutting, soaring energy costs and the drive for green credentials are key to the refurb business, as we’ve discovered that older clean rooms were often not closely calibrated to required performance.  Our team can finely tune and upgrade these older systems to deliver a rapid payback to our customers.”
